Recording for our first full length album is coming to a close and we're hoping for a late May release date!

Also, look out for the upcoming release of No Camouflage, a compilation album featuring local artists for peace. The MPs have already recorded a song for that album. Wendy Schneider of Coney Island Recording Studio is is the driving force behind this effort and there will be a number of fundraising shows around town to help defer the cost of production. Keep your eyes open for a show near you!

and cast your vote! You can also get a paper ballot found in the January issue of Rick's Cafe.

The highest of complements was paid the Motor Primitives when Pam received a "year in review" letter from a friend (and fan) that read:

"I only went to a few concerts this year. Most notable was an Art Garfunkel concert at the opening week festivities for the Overture Center for the Arts. NO WAIT! The Motor Primitives were by far the most notable band I saw this year. (I had better also say they are "unhyphenated" rock)"

Thanks Mr. D!

December 24, 2004

ROBINKATMATPAM would like to wish all of you HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! It's been an exciting year of fun and music. We are grateful for all of our friends with whom boogeying is a true joy!

We are psyched about the upcoming year as we plan to record in late February. Pam can't wait to say "...and don't forget to check out our MERCH table!" The down side is that we will likely forgo a February show so, come on out to the Portal Cafe on January 29th for your Motor Primitive fix!!

November 15, 2004

The band has gotten a nice write-up in the most recent Rick's Cafe for their performance at the Madison Hostel Fundraiser. Pick up a copy today!

A quotable quote from one of the "gods of rock 'n roll":

"If you are listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you are a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons."

-Alice Cooper.
